EQUAL

An urge to write this
A sense to deny this
That
She isn’t equal.
A victim of Manusmriti
A girl bound with smriti
She has to rewrite this
That
She isn’t equal.
A girl who travels miles to reach this
A girl who is scared to do this
A darkness of oppression
An ingress to education
She fought everyday
To this question
That
She isn’t equal.
When a teacher makes her stand
Because she wore a white band
A color of purity
Yet dignified with anonymity
She is rebuked to dress up nicely.
When sun sets and rise  again
She gulped the previous abuses
And went ahead to dress up nicely.
She is now no more welcome here
She becomes a character to laugh upon in the class
Her tears went up in vain
Her mother broke the silence
At last
That
She isn’t born equal
So she fight everyday
To become equal
Only with the means to Education.
She faces  abuses every day
Yet she  remain focused
Only
To empower the equality among her people.

Near to a heart

I live in a place which is near to a heart
But I love a heart
So I travel in my ecstasy to admire the beauty of a heart
And I start
A  journey to reach my favorite place
Vaishali embraces me with her open arms to give permission to chase
Anand vihar welcomes me with his luggage of happiness
A place where people will find the sangam of triveni of transport
The anonymity of Karkardooma
 The affection of Preet vihar
The construction of cafes around mall like V3S is probably the matter of  Nirman vihar
The capital of Laxmi nagar will arrive with masses
Where you’ll see the boards and hoards of hopes
To make you a millionare
Suddenly I feel myself suffocated with so many women
Women in women’s coach cram each other not because of intention
But because of retention I guess.
The Yamuna bank where you will see the lifeline of a heart
Which is gasping for life.
I never understand the mystery of Inderprastha
A name once used to describe the heart
The never ending progress of Pragati maidan
The  cavorting theatre performaces would be found  around mandi house
A place to reach the violet vein to grasp the shopping of Lajpat nagar
and delicious paranthe of  Moolchand
A place to reach the cluster of posh colony
Kailash colony, Amar colony, Defence colony
All this while by reminiscing the colonies I always wanted to live
I’ve covered up Barakhamba road
And Now I can finally hear
My most favorite line
Next station is Rajiv chowk
A place where I had encountered the most crucial spheres of my life
which are all related to  a heart.

Words

All I want is to communicate
Communicate without speaking
A pun to my silence
A pun to the matter that I possess
Regarded as a burden on the earth
A taunt that I carry everyday
The human race  is made up of words
Billions of words and  trillions of thoughts that emerged from them
Words can ignite the flames of sensation of love
Words  can create horrendous destruction
Words can save anybody’s life
Words can kill a person with its slightest misuse
They will create confusion  when you'll unable to find good in goodbyes
Sometimes the words which bring two people together
become the reason of  forever pain
Words which brings variety
Doesn’t give an instance of uniformity
We are all conned up by the fusion of words
And finally we ended up in confusion.
So
I better be silent
Not to dive in the pool of words
Because I am  hydro-wordo-phobic.
