I feel sorry to see these circumstances
Everyone is indulged in their own lives
Some are in power, some are in paucity,
Some are on the road, some are in the streets
Some are indulged in their different dreams
Everybody is singing a different song of their chances
I feel sorry to see these circumstances.
They say that they will change the situation,
They give a speech on water, electricity & cleanliness
And talk their void definition of religion & feminism,
Some of them even use cinema as their agenda
And every one teaches their different ethics & chances
I feel sorry to see these circumstances.
How would be the future look like here?
Where women are trapped inside the cage of rituals
Where child marriages are still happening
And they also murder the lovers in the name of honour killing
They still believe in old ceremonies to make rain
They still make out their profits from old drain
They pour out extensive lectures in the name of religion
Why humanity has not been taught here with a good vision?
Because every one teaches their different ethics & chances
I feel sorry to see these circumstances.
ये हालात देखकर मुझे तरस आता है|
गुम है हर कोई अपने ही जहां में,
कुछ ख़ूबियों में कुछ अपनी ख़ामियों में,
कुछ शहर की सड़कों में कुछ गलियों में
कुछ खोए हैं परिंदों में कुछ परियों में
हर कोई एक अलग ही गीत गाता है
ये हालात देखकर मुझे तरस आता है|
देते हैं दुहाई सभी कि बदलेंगे हालात,
कुछ बिजली पानी और सफाई पर देते हैं सफाई
कुछ धर्म और नारीवाद पर करते हैं खोख़ली व्याख्या
कुछ फ़िल्मी सिनेमा को ही बना लेते हैं अपना एजेंडा
हर कोई नैतिकता की एक अलग परिभाषा बताता है
ये हालात देखकर मुझे तरस आता है|
कैसी होगी यहाँ शक्ल भविष्य की
जहाँ रवायतों में कैद रहती है नारी
होते हैं छुपते-छुपाते बाल विवाह आज भी
और किया जाता है प्रेमियों का क़त्ल भी छुपकर
हवन कुंद की अग्नि से वर्षा कराते हैं
खोखले आडम्बरों के पीछे अपना व्यापार चलाते हैं
मज़हब के नाम पर दिए जाते हैं लम्बे-चौड़े भाषण
कोई किसी को यहाँ इंसानियत क्यूँ नहीं सिखाता है
ये हालात देखकर मुझे तरस आता है|
